Transracial Abductees Tell Their Story
The Victims of Racism who produced this site refer to themselves as “abductees” rather than “adoptees” because, for them, “abductee” is a term that most accurately described what they have experienced. That is a powerful use of words. Up until now, my compensatory term for so-called “transracial adoption” has been “racial offspring appropriation” however, I may begin using abductee/abduction. They also discuss the problems they have with the term “transracial”. They would most prefer “transracist” but had concerns about being found on the Net by other Victims of so-called transracial adoption.
Below is a excerpt from their “About page”:
Why Abduction?
Abduction is the word we like better than adoption. “Adoption” conceals the unequal power between abductors and abductees, and in the abduction industry in general.
Who Can Be An Abductor?
White people, white governments, the abduction industry.
Why Talk About This?
It’s important to talk about this because nothing else we’ve seen out there is politicized in this way. Transracial abduction is secretive, silencing, and abusive, and it’s really hard for transracial abductees to speak out against this racist system of forced assimilation and brainwashing. We wanted to create a forum where abductees can talk about our experiences and share our analysis of them.
There is some very constructive material on this site, which includes interesting articles that make compelling arguments against transracial abduction.
I hope that Victims of Racism, who have been subject to this type of Racist abuse, discover the Transracial Abductee site, which may assist them in their efforts to produce Justice and to heal from the trauma of having been abducted by Racists (White Supremacists). Under a system of Racism (White Supremacy), nothing is what it seems.
Replace White Supremacy with Justice.
